Crested Tanager / Stilpnia heinei

It is a small, striking tanager, recognized by its distinctive bright orange crown, grayish body, and greenish-blue wings. It is found in the Andean regions of Colombia, especially on forest edges, in gardens, and in semi-open areas. It usually travels in pairs or mixed flocks.

Fun fact:

Although it is an Andean forest bird, it adapts very well to gardens with fruit trees, where it feeds mainly on small fruits and also insects. In cities such as Medellín, it can be seen in areas with good vegetation cover.
