Emerald tanager / Tangara florida

A small bird with uniform bright green plumage, slightly lighter tones on the chest and belly. It has a thin dark beak and is usually found in the canopy and edges of tropical rainforests in the Chocó biogeographic region, in Colombia and northwestern Ecuador.

Fun fact:

This species is mainly associated with the Chocó region, one of the most biodiverse places on the planet, and often travels in mixed flocks with other tanagers.
