Mountain Thrush / Turdus serranus

A medium-sized brown bird with a brown back and light breast with distinct dark spots. It has a faint eye ring and a yellowish beak. It is common in Andean mountain forests and forest edges, where it is often seen on the ground searching for food.

Interesting fact:

Unlike many forest birds, this thrush spends a lot of time on the ground, where it searches for insects and worms among the leaf litter.
